King University is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position in the School of Nursing for the Traditional BSN Program. This full-time position is for an on-campus pre-licensure BSN program and will require faculty to be present on the Bristol campus and in clinical settings. The King University Nursing program is fully approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold an MSN from an accredited nursing program; must hold an RN license in TN or compact multistate or be eligible for licensure in TN; have experience in nursing practice; have excellent oral and written communication skills; and have proficiency in the usage of technology. The candidate must have and be able to articulate a personal faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and support the mission of King University.
Preferred: Previous teaching experience in higher education and supervision of students in a clinical setting preferred.
Responsibilities: The appointed applicant will teach undergraduate on-ground courses in the School of Nursing for the pre-licensure BSN program, contribute to program evaluation, and participate in student advising and mentoring. Participation in university committees, scholarship, and community service is also expected.
