Purpose
The purpose of Charter Oak Communities is to increase housing opportunities in Stamford for underserved populations and to promote their socioeconomic progress. We are proud of our accomplishments and of our residents’ ongoing transition toward self-sufficiency. With our community partners, investors and other key stakeholders—including local, state and federal government—COC continues to move forward with confidence and assurance of its long-term sustainability.

Additional Culture Details
The Vita Health and Wellness Partnership is a COC-led coalition of community service agencies promoting public health and wellbeing. Vita brings together Stamford Hospital, Optimus Healthcare, New Covenant Center, Family Centers, Children’s Learning Centers and a host of local partners to impact the social determinants of health (www.VitaStamford.com).
