Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:
- Supervise the unit, overseeing registered and licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, medical clerks and support staff.
- Manage work schedules, delegate assignments, assign tasks and evaluate employee job performance.
- Discipline staff who don't fulfill their job requirements or provide inadequate patient care.
- Set Unit goals and standards and establish employee policies and procedures.

Requirements
Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
- Current license as RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
- Experience with Dementia patients preferred.
- Must have extensive clinical experience, administrative experience, and training in both nursing and management.
- Must have strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation.
