Kindred Place at Annville, a service rich and vibrant independent living community, is seeking an RN Manager to lead with purpose, serve with heart, and make a difference!

The RN Manager will be a professional RN who is passionate about helping older adults live well, safely, and independently. The successful candidate will believe leadership is more than managing - it's about serving, supporting, and building a strong community. She or he will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the daily operations for our community. The RN Manager plays a key role in ensuring the community operates effectively and continues to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising, supporting, and developing staff;
• Overseeing and coordinating a broad spectrum of services provided within the community including collaboration with our in-house Home Care Agency operations;
• Responding effectively to the changing needs of residents, families, and staff;
• Managing the admissions process;
• Using strong clinical assessment and sound judgement to identify the needs of current residents and those of potential admissions; and,
• Building a positive, collaborative environment where residents and staff feel valued, respected, and supported.

Requirements

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania;
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients/residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general 
  public;
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel;
• Must be able to summarize and relate information concerning a resident's condition; and,
• Must possess the ability/willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Experience in home health or long-term care preferred.
