We are seeking to fill the position of Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse.

Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:

• Supervise the unit, overseeing registered and licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, medical clerks and support staff.
• Manage work schedules, delegate assignments, assign tasks and evaluate employee job performance.
• Discipline staff who don't fulfill their job requirements or provide inadequate patient care.
• Set Unit goals and standards and establish employee policies and procedures.

Requirements

Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• Current license as RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
• Experience with Dementia patients preferred.
• Must have extensive clinical experience, administrative experience, and training in both nursing and management.
• Must have strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation.
