In this role, you will function as an expert clinician in Wound and Enterostomal Care and assists patients through the continuum of care and treatment.
Provide care and education to patients and their families with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.
Collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team to anticipate and respond to changes in patient health status and patient/family perceptions of care.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field required.
Experience: Three years acute care experience. Previous experience with program development and implementation of specialized would care treatment. Previous experience with policy development, strong knowledge of CDPH regulatory requirements regarding documentation and wound care programs.
License and Certifications: Current RN license, state of California. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card. Graduate from a CWOCN (certified wound, ostomy, continence nurse) accredited enterostomal therapy nursing education program within twelve months of hire.
