Description
Primary duties include teaching both introductory and upper-division courses in nursing (didactic, laboratory, clinical); scholarship involvement; service at the department, university, community, and professional levels; mentoring students; and working cooperatively with faculty and staff across the campus.
Requirements
- Christian commitment and an ability to integrate elements of the Christian faith into course materials.
- Doctorate in nursing (PhD, DNP) or related field preferred (MSN required if doctorate not in nursing).
- Possession of/eligible for an unencumbered Tennessee Nursing License.
- Individuals with educational preparation and teaching/practice experiences in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Primary Care, Pediatrics, Maternal/Newborn, Medical/Surgical Nursing, and Intensive Care. Recent teaching, clinical experience, online teaching, and research experience desirable.
