Description
A dermatology-only veterinary clinic in Melbourne's north-western suburbs is looking for an experienced vet nurse to join their small, supportive team. This permanent role is Monday to Thursday, with no weekend or after-hours work. The position offers a mix of consult nursing, surgical support, inventory management and occasional admin assistance.
Approximately 60% of your time will be spent in consultation nursing, with about 20% dedicated to surgical cases. The rest includes essential clinic tasks such as ordering medications, managing stock and maintaining a clean, organised workspace. You'll also provide backup support to reception during busy times.
Applicants must hold a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent), along with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary nurse/technician.
This role is best suited to an experienced nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working sole charge. Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
