Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled OB Registered Nurse to join a culturally diverse, high-risk OB unit at an Acute Care Hospital in Eureka, CA. The nurse will circulate during cesarean sections and provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns, collaborating closely with the OB team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
\n

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk OB unit.
\n
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist with labor and delivery procedures.
\n
• Float between like units as required.
\n
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
\n
• Accurately document patient care using Epic.
\n
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
\n
• Work every other weekend as scheduled; RTO must be submitted at the time of application.
\n

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Active RN license
\n
• Minimum 1 year of OB nursing experience
\n
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
\n
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating schedules
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
\n

Rate: USD $10,000 to $170,000

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse California state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
• One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
