Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Medical-Surgical / Post-Operative Unit
Location: IU Health Fishers - New Bed Expansion Opening Fall 2025
Schedule Options: Days & Nights-Full-Time | Part-Time | Special Weekend Option
Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Medical-Surgical / Post-Operative Unit.
This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to adult patients recovering from surgeries, illnesses, or injuries
- Monitor patients and manage medical equipment
- Administer medications and coordinate care plans
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current Indiana RN license
- Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit specialty
