Provide added leader oversight for the service line on all shifts 24/7. Assist with monitoring quality measures & assuring joint commission readiness for all shifts. This position will also provide assistance with staff mentoring & educational support while on shift. The Trauma DCN will also be the first line of contact for service line when nursing leadership is not readily available.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesWell developed skills in critical care management. Understanding of patient flow through the continuum of care. Understanding of computer programs: EHRs, Windows office programs.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? YesPreferred Education/ExperienceKBN RN licensure. Critical Care nursing. Trauma/surgical critical care preferred.
