MEDICAL ASSISTANT/NURSE ASSISTANT

Abay Neuroscience Center (ANC) is seeking a nurse assistant or medical assistant/nurse assistant for a clinic setting. ANC is a busy medical practice with 7 neurosurgeons. The assistant rooms patients who are being evaluated for surgery or who have had spine or brain surgery. The assistant collects patient medical history and inputs into the electronic medical record. The assistant works closely with all providers including physicians, physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses. The assistant may perform a variety of other tasks such as stocking exam rooms or scheduling appointments. The assistant works as part of the health care team in providing care to patients. Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred. The position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
