The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases, hazards of radiation, and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.Shiftmust be able to work three 12-hour shifts each week from 6A-630p with some weekends and holidays requiredJob SummaryThe eICU nurse (Registered Nurse RN) is a member of a collaborative care team who is responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing care focusing on early intervention to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals with the goal to decrease ICU-related morbidity and mortality. The following features govern the role of the eICU RN: Patient Advocacy, Proactive, continuous monitoring, Prevention, Evidence-based care, Telecommunication, Clinical decision support, Humane, compassionate ethical care
Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesCurrent Kentucky RN state licensure. Three or more years of recent experience as an ICU nurse in the specialty field of adult critical care. Two or more years of experience in a clinical role, which required effectively communicating and collaborating with health care professionals (Charge role, DCN, CNE, Team Lead). Current BLS-Provider course completion Current ACLS-Provider course completion.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
